Built by the team that automated mining trucks.

Tango Robotics was founded with a simple but urgent goal: to bring advanced technology to landfills. Our team has spent years developing collision avoidance and technology systems for the toughest environments, including mining pits, tailings sites, and quarries. We saw firsthand how little of that technology had made its way into waste management. That’s why we created Tango: to adapt proven experience to the landfill working face.

Proven at Industrial Scale

Collectively, our team has helped deploy hundreds of autonomous haul trucks and support machines across some of the largest mining operations in the world. From oil sands in Canada to iron ore in Australia and quarries across North and South America, we’ve seen what it takes to move technology from pilot projects into day-to-day operations. We’ve worked with global leaders like Imperial Oil, Suncor, Fortescue Metals Group, and Roy Hill, alongside projects with Rio Tinto, BHP, and Vale. These programs spanned haul trucks, drills, support machines, and light vehicles, proving technology at an industrial scale.
