Engineered for heavy equipment
Tango's systems prevent heavy equipment from hitting wellheads on the active working face. 360° camera-based people and vehicle proximity warnings keep operators aware of what's around them, whether on a landfill, a transfer station, or a MRF.
Trusted by operators across North America
Gas well protection
Landfill heavy equipment routinely strike gas wells, causing tens of thousands of dollars in damage per incident, regulatory violations, and potential gas release hazards. Traditional visual markers are frequently buried under waste, destroyed by equipment, or obscured by fog and dust. Tango uses RTK GPS to map every wellhead on your site and warns operators the moment they get too close.

Hazard zones
Operators have to navigate trenches, ditches, cliffs, and slopes that put equipment at risk, plus structures such as light poles that are costly to replace. Tango lets site managers draw geofenced danger zones around any geographical hazard or existing infrastructure on the site, with configurable protection zones and real-time in-cab alerts.

360° camera coverage
Heavy equipment operating across waste facilities poses constant collision risk to nearby workers, light vehicles, and other machines. Close-proximity operations between heavy equipment, personnel on foot, and light vehicles are standard across the industry, yet available collision avoidance technology falls short. Tango uses industrial-grade cameras to detect people and vehicles around heavy equipment in real time, trained specifically for the visual clutter of waste operations.

Fleet downtime monitoring
Every hour a vehicle sits idle is an hour of lost productivity. Tango uses the same hardware that runs collision avoidance systems to monitor when each vehicle is running, idle, or down, giving site managers the data they need to optimize fleet utilization across their operations.
Roll-over prevention— In active testing
Working faces shift, slopes change, and equipment operating on uneven ground risks operator injury and serious equipment damage. Tango monitors equipment tilt and ground angle in real time, alerting operators before slopes become dangerous.

In-cab monitoring— In active testing
Drowsiness, distraction, and phone use are common contributors to heavy equipment incidents. Tango uses the same rugged tablet that operators already have in the cab to monitor behavior in real time and alert operators when attention drops.

Administrator dashboard
Site managers need visibility into what's happening across the fleet, from every alert to playback footage of past events. Tango's dashboard logs every event with full searchable history. Use it to investigate incidents, coach operators, and prove safety performance.

How it works
Step 01
Our team surveys every wellhead and hazard zone with RTK GPS, and tunes vision models to your site's terrain and visual conditions.
Step 02
Tango installs hardware on your equipment and trains operators on the system.
Step 03
Tango monitors system health, pushes updates over the air, and provides ongoing support and maintenance.
